That's Virtual Dolby, I hasten to add.

Bought my first DVD. "The Italian Job". It was only £9.99 on offer in Borders, Oxford Street. It was an impulse buy. And it is the greatest film ever made, isn't it? Well, it's got Noel Coward in it for Christ's sake. And Benny Hill. What more does a film need?

I just had a Messenger window pop up with an advert for "the most bizarre fetish sites". WtF??? Has anyone else come across this?

I also need to get broadbanmd access. So far, I've been recommended BTopenworld and Zen. Thoughts?

I'm happy with Telewest/Blueyonder. I had the cable TV and cable phone from them already so adding the broadband was very easy.

The people on the helpdesk are actually very helpful and the technical people I've talked to all know their stuff. One techie stayed on the phone with me while we went through many reboots to determine that my network card had indeed failed (not one they had supplied but one that I had picked up cheap somewhere) and waited while I found another and made sure I was all up and running before ending the call ... sure they aren't perfect, but they've always sorted me out and I have no complaints.
