Looking at the trailer for the new series, there don't seem to be any scenes that are obviously off-planet (or particularly futuristic). Please tell that the Moff has gone for the old "The Best Stories are Set on Earth" line (I can remember my middle brother peddling this line in the 1970s and he's about the same age as the Moff; also consider Rusty's first series - although the Doctor did get into LEO a couple of times). Given the damage to the Tardis when the Doctor regenerated, I have a nightmare that the new series is going to be him stuck on Earth, trying to repair the Tardis, while fighting "vampires".

Please tell me that this is not going to be so.

The Tardis set under Rusty has not been great. I'm hoping the Moff will at least give us back the proper, bloody doors!!! Having recently seen Episode One, of "The Daleks", I'd quite like to see the food machine back too. Apparently, Rusty didn't like the idea of them living in the Tardis - it was their "vehicle". But Susan explictly discusses beds with Barbara (Steady at the back! Not like *that*!) in the episode. Where the hell did he think Susan was *living* in 1963? And I think bedrooms are seen in 1970s/1980s era episodes.

I do like the idea of the Tardis being not just bigger, but BIGGER on the inside. It's a very Borgesian idea. Where I the Moff I would have sent all the writers for the new series a copy of "Labyrinths" along with DVDs of the
