Wherever I Lay My Hat

Well, een to Marcus's party. I enjoyed myself, even if it wasn't quite what I had expected, I think Marcus did too, which is the main thing. It's not easy to find a vaguely sf-related card in John Lewis's, but Marcus liked the one Idid find. I bought a birthday card and a Mother's Day card for my mum too. I also bought a card to send to Michele. It seems she has left Smartforce now, so the only way of sniffing her out her out is through her physical mail address (I hate the term "snail mail", even if it is aliterative). But a stamp to Ireland is an inconvenient amount. Never mind, I've got to send a cheque off for my wardrode.

John was right. I need *someone* to give me a list getting the telly on its stand. Tomorrow is PSII day (and, mostly, getting books on shelves day).

I *definitely* need some kip! Now.

Books Do Furnish a Room

Well, I've now got all my books on the shelves. Unfortunately, there are now in essentially random order. At some point, I'm going to have try and arrange them. I'd like to catalogue them too. Probably a little ambitious! Does anyone have any ideas how to organise my books.

I have got my PSII working. Unfortunately, at the moment, I am finding it extremely difficult to drive in a straight line in The Getaway. I suppose this is what comes of taking up videogames at the age of 34 rather than 3. I hope the learning curve is steep. I may buy a steering wheel. I've always wanted one.
