With Friends Like These...
Feb. 18th, 2003 11:53 pmMy new TV is arriving tomorrow. Yippee!!! A 28" 100 Hz widescreen Sony with Virual Dolby (I think!) and three SCART sockets (the most important thing). Now, all I need is my Sky feed, a PSII and a HDD recorder (Saturday, I hope). I'm getting there. Can I fit a Dalek in my new flat? Perhaps in the hall. There are advantages of being single.
Currently reading "Post Office" by Charles Bukowski. It's well-written, but I'm both a geek and a fan. I'd rather have gor drunk with Philip K. Dick. There'd be so much more to talk about. Where is that bottle of Laphroaig?
I nned to sign up for an Arvon Foundation course. "Breaking Boundaries" or Fiction with Mike Gayle and Jenny Colgan (my writing tutor told me I should look at writing something on speed dating). Thoughts?
