Christmas Plans
Dec. 23rd, 2003 05:20 pmFor the first time ever, I'm not having Christmas in Preston. My brother lives in London (Hampstead Garden Suburb). They've got two kids now, so my mum has come down. Which actually that Christmas should be fairly civilised. On Boxing Day, Alison is coming from Northwood. On Saturday, I'm going back to Preston with my mum. Sunday is a PSFG walk near Chris Moore's. I hope to get a trip into the Carnforth Bookshop at some point. On New Year's Eve, I'll be heading down to Ipswich to see Alison. Planning to meet up with Paul and, I hope, Mo and Tracy. So, it'll ne a fairly busy CHristmas overall. At least now that I've finished "Quicksilver", I can read something a little lighter. "Thursbitch" (OK, not light, but short) and the "other" Douglas Adams's biography "Wish You Were Here" are top of the "To Read" pile.
Whatever you are doing, have a good one. I should be back with a report on the 27th (Saturday).
