Hmmm. Maybe. Reports suggest he was quite a retiring man, and totally unused to dealing with the media circus which was camped out on his doorstep, so there's a possibility he did himself in. It stinks whichever way you look at it.
True, but he knew a lot of journos, was used to talking to the press and giving evidence to Parliament. But it is much more likely it was suicide than an assassination.
