At Least the Pizza Was Good

Went on a date this afternoon with Helen Cardrick (Pembroke, 1988). I'm prepared to name the guilty party. A truly weird date given that it was at the bar she owns in Herne Hill (Herne Hill! Herne Hill! I had dragged myself to Herne Hill. It may think it's the new Notting Hill, but it's got a long way to go yet) and I spent more time talking to her best friend. Not exactly ideal circumstances to get to know someone. What the hell was she thinking.? I don't think I'll be seeing her again.

I didn't know her at all (she's Vivid on Love & Friends). Given that it was in her own bar (Escape in Herne Hill), security would have been less of an issue than normal, I'd have thought! I think you are right that the friend was accidental and that she wanted to show off the bar. Maybe, in hindsight, it would have been better to have saved that for a subsequent date.
