pmcrayIt looks like I probably have managed to bag a place at Moniack Mhor for the Novel Writing course in August. Well, it's not Shropshire. I'm a bit concerned it will be full of people who want to become part of the Glasgow hard man school of writing, or, just as bad, the Irvine Welsh school. Of course, if I'm lucky, it'll be more like "The Book Group". It only Jomsborg was more like that.
I'm told by someone who has been there, that Moniack Mhor is in the *middle* of nowhere. Better take a bottle of decent malt. And a couple of bottles of Cabernet-Merlot.
