Went to Kew Gardens yesterday. (I'm a "Premier Friend"). Lovely day, but very cold. Should have worn my scarf, hat *and* gloves. Lots of great trees, mostly naked. I have to admit there is something about trees. As Del once said, "Do we like fractals because we like trees, or do we like trees because we like fractals?".

Favourite site du jour is http://en.wikipedia,org. Somehow it reminds me of what we imagined the web would be like before it was invented: a giant encyclopedia. I'm sure that something like Wikipedia was what the characters in "The Fountains of Paradise" accessed in their info booths rather than Google.

Through Wikipedia, I came across http://www.deadjournal.com. Even more teen angst!

Done nearly all of my Christmas shopping. Thank heaven for the internet!
