Pirate Planet
Oct. 15th, 2003 04:02 pmBrilliant! Douglas Adams' "Pirate Planet" Dr Who story starts on UK Gold on Friday. I remember missing the same episode of this story twice when I was a kid (it was repeated - no videos in the 70s!). If UK gold carry on as they have been doing "City of Death" will be on in about 2 or 3 weeks.
I note that "Wish You Were Here", the other (non-Simo) adams biography is out. Also that the Hitchhiker film has been recently green-lighted. Although like the new Dr Who, I'll believe it when I see it (but Thunderbirds really is real!).
Currently reading "The Greatest Sci-Fi Movies Never Made" (on the toilet). Fascinating stuff. Does anyone know of any similar books on mainstream films (I always thought it would make a good book)?
